| Long description | NetProfiler 2 Ensure Optimal Performance From Your Color Measurement Instruments NetProfiler 2.0 is the next generation of GretagMacbeths breakthrough technology that enables customers to exchange spectral color data with confidence – especially in applications like color formulation, color quality control and spot color reproduction where color tolerances are tight and there is little room for error. NetProfiler2 certifies the measurement performance of each spectrophotometer used in the production process on a regular basis – ensuring that each instrument is always running at peak accuracy. By minimizing the variance between color measurement data – either from one instrument to the next or from one year to the next, NetProfiler2 is able to remove an important variable that can negatively impact the color reproduction process. Minimize data inconsistency in your production process Data inconsistency is the single most prevalent problem in color measurement. Instruments of different makes and models do not always agree. And, the effect of soiling, age, or environmental conditions on sensitive optics can further exacerbate the problem. With NetProfiler2, you can minimize this issue and enable a network of instruments to communicate more accurately. NetProfiler2 gives color managers with the means to remotely monitor the accuracy of their color network and level of instrument performance. The result – improved instrument uptime, quality and reliability, which means production process stay up and running without interruption for service or calibration. Here’s how it works NetProfiler2 is an internet based application, consisting of software and certified physical standards, that automatically tests the performance of each instrument in the network, measures and profiles each device for optimal performance, provides a profile certificate, and unlimited report access. NetProfiler2 also includes sophisticated remote diagnostic tools which can be run on a regular basis. Should the spectrophotometer no longer meet performance specifications, a NetProfiler2 run will detect the problem and, when possible, correct and restore the instrument to defined specifications. It’s like having a service technician on call 24/7. It’s easy to create, store and manage profiles for multiple color measurement devices – even review the performance and trends of your instruments in your global color management workflow at speeds only the Internet can deliver! Documented proof of performance NetProfiler2 is ideal for ISO, QS9000, Six Sigma, and other quality systems. GretagMacbeth color management instruments can be verified against the certified standards as often as desired to ensure accurate instrument performance.
